The New Zealand International Film Festival screens 180 films across more than 400 sessions in a dozen locations every year, so creating a CMS structure to allow this volume of data to be easily and swiftly imported posed a good challenge. Launched ahead of the 2014 festival, the site has garnered praise from audiences and raised thumbs from the operators tasked with maintaining the site’s content. It’s been a joy to work with the festival team—they knew exactly what they needed and yet gave us freedom to make suggestions at every step.
