Cactuslab worked with New Zealand Post to develop a web application for the online creation and lodgement of physical greeting cards and postcards. Users of the application select from a series of template styles, then add a personalised message and (optionally) their own photographic content, which can be uploaded, resized and positioned into the template using a customised interface, and all without the use of the Flash plugin.
Once the design is complete, the user addresses and pays for their card(s). The application then delivers them in digital format to New Zealand Post for printing and delivery via the postal network.
