Rockdetector was our client from 2003 to mid 2008, during which time we retooled the site's original interface and backend to greatly increase search engine friendliness and general usability. The requirement for a (sadly short-lived) CD Store component gave us the opportunity to make the site over again, this time using web standards which significantly reduced the download size of all pages, while making the content accessible to more users. Rockdetector was powered by our Supermodel CMS, allowing its owners to make content changes via the secure admin, and by synchronising directly from an in-house Access database. Reaction from the site's dedicated userbase was overwhelmingly positive, and the site now lives on as MusicMight.
